Serapi Rug-200714 The mid blue ground of this attractive Heriz carpet from Northwest Persia has a centered layout of layers of stiff strapwork dominating palmettes and sawtooth leaves. The wide tomato red border has widely spaced “turtle” palmettes separated by rosettes, stiff lancet leaves and numerous angular tenrils.
